In order to inrestigate of FACTORIAL structure and psychometry features of social problem – Solving questionnaire (long revised from), 242 male students and 248 female students of Islamic University Roudehen Branch were tested. ANALYSIS of the main components were approved 5 theoretical factors of Social problem – Solving (including positive orientation toward problem, negative orientation toward problem, logical Solving of Problem, avoidance Style and impulsion / Carelessness Style) and he resuit of approval FACTORIAL Structure was Supported. Correlation coefficients between factors of social problem – solving questionnaire and 24 – question Scale Problem –Solving methods questionnaire of Kasidi and Long Shows the convergent reliability of – this questionnaire.(ronbach & coefficients equaled 0.80, 0.90, 0.84, 0.71 in order for factoros of positive orientation toward problem, logical Solving of problem, avoidance style and impulsion / Careless ness style. The result of this research shows the consistency of FACTORIAL structure of Social problem – Solving measurement among Iranian students.

Nowadays, the fundamental role of having a purpose for life in physical and mental health has been confirmed. According to victor frankl, presence of a purpose in life gives life a meaning and increases resilience against pains and traumas. The importance of the purpose in life construct reveals the need for a reliable and valid tool to measure it. Crumbaugh and Maholick's purpose in life questionnaire is the first and one of the most applied tools for the assessment of life's purposefulness. The aim of this research is to determine the factor structure of purpose in life questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered on 206 students who were selected through random stratified sampling at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. EXPLORATORY factor ANALYSIS showed that there are two factors "comprehension" and "purpose" and this finding were confirmed by confirmatory factor ANALYSIS. Altogether results of this research showed factor validity of the purpose in life questionnaire with a two factor pattern

Introduction: Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) (Maslach & Jackson, 1981) is the most commonly used measure of burnout among people from different backgrounds and professions. The educator survey of MBI is the version designed for studying burnout among those engaged in the teaching profession.Methods: MBI has been translated into various languages and its factor structure has been examined in many studies. This study examined the FACTORIAL structure of the Persian version of MBI through EXPLORATORY and confirmatory factor analyses among 570 Iranian EFL teachers.Results: The findings of the study confirmed the appropriacy of the original three-factor model as proposed by Maslach and Jackson for the Persian version of the MBI.Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the Persian version of MBI can be used in burnout research with Persian speaking Iranian participants.

This paper presents a statistical approach to estimating the effects of psychological factors on humans due to inappropriate waste disposal in the environment. FACTORIAL experimental ANALYSIS is combined with the concepts of transition matrix and steady state conditions. An adequate understanding into the statistical quantification of the waste disposal concept would aid policy makers in effective decision making and the proper control of environment. The feasibility of developing statistical parameters for assessing the waste disposal concept is confirmed. The work shows the novelty of the approach.

To examine the psychometric properties of Farsi version of the Hardiness Scale including reliability, validity, and EXPLORATORY factor ANALYSIS, 283 students from University of Tehran in two sample groups of 124 athletes and 159 nonathletes were included in this study. All participants were asked to complete the Hardiness Scale (HS), the Mental Health Inventory (MHI), and the Farsi version of the Positive and Negative Perfectionism Scale (FPANPS). Test-retest reliability and internal consistency of the HS were examined at satisfactory levels. The results of EXPLORATORY factor ANALYSIS supported three factors for the HS as well as a single general factor of hardiness. Concurrent validity of the HS was calculated according to correlation coefficients between the scores of the HS and those of the MHI and FPANPS. Most correlations were statistically significant.
